Sautéed Collar Greens + Bacon
Serves 4 | Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 12 minutes
A quick and delicious way to eat your greens. Make these with the Honey-Garlic Chicken Wings.
Ingredients
- 2 strips thick cut bacon, cut into 1/4-inch batons
- 1 bunch collard greens, chopped
- Juices from the Honey-Garlic Chicken Wings
Chef Tips
I like to double the amount of greens for leftovers.
Preparation
Step 1
Sauté the bacon over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from the heat and reserve in a small bowl. Add the collard greens and sauté until wilted; about 5 minutes. Season with salt.
Step 2
Hopefully you’re using the chicken juices that have come from the chicken wings. Pour some of those juices into the greens and stir to coat. Serve with the wings.
