Matcha Chocolate Halva Bites

A little indulgence goes a long way. Especially when you incorporate ingredients like dark chocolate and matcha both of which help boost mood and provide anti-inflammatory properties. Halva is an amazing sesame candy paste that gives desserts a much more complex and unique flavor profile.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups melted 70% dark chocolate
  • 1 cup tahini (I like from Seed + Mill)
  • 1 cup halva (from Seed + Mill), roughly chopped
  • Matcha powder for dusting

Chef Tips

Best halva I’ve had is from Seed + Mill. In fact they make awesome things out of sesame everything!

Preparation

Step 1

In a mixing bowl, combine the melted chocolate and tahini and whisk to combine; pour into a 8×8 baking pan. Scatter the halva pieces into the chocolate mixture. Place in the fridge until firm. Sliced into squares and dust generously with matcha
